It's been years in the making and months of meticulous planning, but venerable Lido Shores is entering a new era. Tweets and text messages have all but supplanted emails these days. The iPad and Kindle have fueled the the exponential growth of e-reading. (Penguin Publishing announced that e-book sales nearly tripled in 2010).
It's been years in the making and months of meticulous planning, but venerable Lido Shores is entering a new era. Tweets and text messages have all but supplanted emails these days. The iPad and Kindle have fueled the the exponential growth of e-reading. (Penguin Publishing announced that e-book sales nearly tripled in 2010).
So it was inevitable that we throw caution to the wind and start putting our neighborhood's collective thoughts on the "cloud".
Just like it's paper predecessor, the LSPOA Newsletter, this paperless publication will strive to keep its regular readers in the know. This will be a collaborate effort. An open forum, of sorts. An electronic discourse of ideas. That's because we now have the online, instant ability to update and post new material on a whim. That's our way of saying your input is always welcome. We need your eyes, your ears and any news you'd like to pass along. And just as importantly, we know that privacy matters, and will always strive to protect it.
It's our goal to provide you with enough new, interesting and enlightening fare that you'll want to put us on your regular surfing schedule. A little too ambitious? Maybe. But you gotta like our spunk.
