| Planting palms at the Pavilion area last year. |
Have you ever wondered just exactly what an invasive species looks like? Which native plants grow best in Lido Shores? Do you have a green thumb and need to exercise it? Well, the
LSPOA Landscape Committee could use your help. They're looking for
volunteers to join in for a
Beach Pavilion Work Day on
Saturday, November 30th from 9 am to Noon.

Over the summer, lots of those non-native invasives thrived in the hot, humid raining season…and they need to be cutback or removed. The committee is looking for volunteers to help tame the area between the parking lot and our Pavilion…as well as along our easement and the new bocce court area.
There's no need to be a horticulturist either.
Sharon Fitzpatrick of Deeply Rooted Landscaping will be there to point us in the right direction. Just bring gloves, a long-sleeved shirt and get ready to help pull some weeds to get our easement area spruced up for the season.
