Cindy Wilson, who recently sold her home at 1219 Westway Drive to Scott and Jill Ramsey, but has retained the adjoining lot, forwarded the picture above of a suspicious boat to the Sarasota police after reading the April 7th LSPOA web posting to Lido Shores homeowners from President Bob Thill.
 
This is her note to Detective Maria Llovio, who is assigned to Lido Key:

Detective Llovio, I was forwarded a copy of your memo regarding Lido Shores today from the LSPOA as I own a lot on Westway. I took a photo of this suspicious boat on Sunday morning around 7:45 AM at the back of my current home at 1309 Vista Drive in Harbor Acres. The man in the boat lingered behind my neighbor's home and then mine for some time and appeared to be casing the properties rather than fishing.

We have not experienced this in the past and I was very uncomfortable with his prolonged surveying of the properties and took a photo of the boat with my phone just in case a break-in should occur. I am forwarding this to you in case it might be worth checking out. I appreciate the service you provide to our community.
