A number of current and former Lido Shores' neighbors turned out for a party to announce next year's Sarasota Season of Sculpture.

It's called Season VI: Under Azure Skies.  The next round of sculpture's will grace Sarasota's Bayfront from November, 2011 until May 2012.

We ran into Alice and Wayne Freed, Dick and Peggy Robbins, Christina Landry, Howard Rooks, Marguerite Jill Dye, Duane Finger and Joan Nixon.  

The announcement was made at the Allyn Gallup Contemporary Art Gallery downtown.  Our own Howard Rooks is a member of the Season of Sculpture Board.  ~BT
