Apple Butter Express A Hit in Steamy Pav Parking Lot

Lido Shorians congregate in the shade to watch Applebutter Express

50-plus Lido Shorians turned out on a steamy late Sunday afternoon (April 23) to enjoy blue-grass/country band Applebutter Express.  Lawn chairs hugged the contours of the Pav parking lot as concert goers attempted to find some much-needed shade.

The trio, featuring a stand-up bass and strong vocals played an eclectic mix of country and pop, with some nice renditions of old Simon and Garfunkel and Beatles tunes, mixed in with their own compositions.  Thanks to Bill and Jan Farber for finding and booking the talented group.  Bills says there's talk of having them perform here again next fall.
