LSPOA Neighbors Support Mote Marine's Farm to Fillet Event

Lido Shorians supporting Mote Farm to Fillet Dinner

LSPOA members have been busy volunteering in February.  Karyn Smith (1200Westway Drive) reports that more than 20-Lido Shorians turned out in support of Mote Marine Laboratory's Farm to Fillet event.  It was held on Sunday, February 12, 2023 at the Mote Aquaculture Research Park, it's Research and Development Facility.

Karyn tells us our Lido Shores contingent was recognized by Mote for our community group support.  "We ate well, listened to some fantastic music, and had an opportunity to tour the facility," Karen says.  "The Mote scientists work to transform eco-friendly seafood farming.  We had scientists sit with us and share their backgrounds, stories, and dreams & hopes for the future."

Sandra Appignani helped to spearhead the outing.  LSPOA members Sally and Bill Kling, Carol Bowen and Vic Bass, Phil and Carol Fuoco and Bill and Jan Farber also attended.

Thanks to both Karyn and Sandra for sharing this story and pictures!
