Festive Fall Potluck

 An Amazing Evening at Lynn & Randon Carvel's

Lynn and Randon’s stunning contemporary home on John Ringling Parkway provided a stunning backdrop to one of the neighborhoods favorite gatherings when approximately 75 members attended the fall potluck on Sunday, October 22. The mild weather allowed members to dine outdoors and enjoy the remarkable view of the bay.

There was a great assortment of delicious food, so it seems we’ve finally found the right formula to ensure a balance of appetizers, side dishes, entrees and desserts. This time the board members brought desserts and LSPOA purchased the entrees for the group. The new approach allowed members to provide side dishes and appetizers. We had a great selection of treats and everyone seemed to enjoy the entrees of smoked turkey, brisket, pulled pork, ribs, corn bread, cream corn, portobello mushrooms, slaw, kale salad, and potato salad provided by Brick's Smoked Meats.

A giant shout of praise and many, many thanks to Katie Lloyd who continues to go above and beyond supporting me with these events.

Thanks to Denis Bischoff for the assist with the ice to chill the wonderful wines from Judy and Fred Fiala. Much gratitude to Judy and Fred for their continual efforts to enhance our event with the perfect vino.
