Volunteers Needed for Swim Around Lido Key Race April 12th

Lido Shorian Linda Hargreaves is competing in the “Swim Around Lido Key” event on Sunday, April 12th, and her husband David is piloting one of the safety boats. The organizers are looking for volunteers and she wondered if any of our LSPOA members would be able to help out. Looks like fun – anyone living on New Pass will see 100 swimmers and kayakers pass by their docks on that day!

The Swim Around Lido Key open water race is being held on Sunday, April 12th. This is a 7-mile open water swim around the island of Lido Key where swimmers will be escorted by kayakers for safety, navigation, and nutrition. David Miner and Steve Butler are hosting this race and need volunteer kayakers as well as other volunteers for the race.
