| No more sandy feet at our New and Improved rinse station! |
Lido Shorians and their guests who attended this Sunday's Off-Shore Grand Prix and Hot Dog Party got an added treat. For many, it was the first look at our newly installed rinse station at the entrance to the beach path. Complete with an easy to use handle and wood deck, it's a first-class and much needed way to rinse off sandy toes and keep the sand out of our cars.

Kudo's to two of our members who made it happen. Thank you to Kevin Berkebile for upping the curve and installing the stylish foot spritzer. And more applause goes to Larry Reinebach, who used his engineering expertise to design and install, along with Kevin and Kent Williams, an updated well water pump to make it work, complete with a new and greatly improved solar panel to provide power.
The now functioning well with also provide water for our first round of pavilion area landscape improvements. New palm trees and other salt and heat tolerant vegetation are scheduled to be planted this coming Friday. On behalf of all of us who enjoy our beach, a heartfelt thank you for an excellent job!
