| Lido Shorian Bob Thill interviewed by SNN-TV on North Lido beach erosion |
Lido Shores is once again making itself heard as part of the beach erosion conversation. Spokesperson Bob Thill was interviewed by SNN-TV reporter Samantha Sonner on the $13-million dollar in federal funding appropriated by the Army Corps of Engineers to rebuild severely eroded Lido Beach. Bob speaks to the need for sand on North Lido Key as well as South Lido.
Bob was also interviewed concerning the loss of Turtle nesting habitat. That interview will appear Wednesday on SNN-TV.
Federal funding for Lido Key sand renourishment was front page news in the Sarasota Herald Tribune on Tuesday as well.
