Pet Waste Follow Up

Editors note:  We received several comments about our recent post about cleaning up pet waste in the neighborhood.  This one in particular, (see below) from member John Byles, complete with pictures, caught our eye.

It clearly shows that there are still some individuals in Lido Shores who didn't get the message, are renters who haven't been informed by their landlords that this unsightly mess is frowned upon, or, heaven forbid, they read it and thought, "Who cares?"

If you see, or know the name or names of someone who still think their dogs' poop is a welcome sight in our yards (LSPOA member or not) or the address of guilty renters with dogs, please let us know.

Maybe it's time to stop preaching to the choir, and confront those who just don't give a sh#t about what the rest of the neighborhood thinks.

"I think everyone has a reasonable idea who’s the worst offender, but I don’t know if that guy is a member of the association and gets the emails (sent out by LSPOA). 

 I think my first response is when I see him walking his dog, and he’s ambling down the middle of the road, I’m going to lay on my horn for him to move, scare the sh#t  out of him. Maybe start a ‘dialogue’....."
