New Facelift for Morningside Drive

Transforming Morningside Drive

The Morningside Drive transformation is well underway as Lido Shores' gateway is swiftly evolving this Spring. If you've attempted to navigate myriad construction vehicles dotting Morningside Drive the past few weeks...you surely noticed the massive cranes towering over Lido Shores. They're part of the construction of three new homes taking shape along our neighborhood's north side.

222 Morningside Drive
The tallest crane has finished setting the foundation for David Feuerstein's new home on the previously vacant lot at 222 Morningside Drive.

Also, framing is well underway at Alan and Linda Stewart's new modern home at 336 Morningside Drive. The Stewart's also have a home in Scotland.

310 Morningside Drive
And now you see it, now you don't. Earl Silvers home at 310 Morningside Drive is no more.

Dr.'s Fikry and Irene Isaac are planning a new home for the temporarily vacant lot.

The demolition this past week prompted Carol Bowen, who lives on the corner of Morningside Drive and Morningside Place, to say she has a short window of opportunity to enjoy her newly acquired but temporary bayou view.
