Jennifer Holland (412 Bowdoin Circle) emailed LSPOA on July 2nd to let us know their boat was broken into and vandalized. The thieves also stole all of their gas. As this post was being written, Jean and Kent Williams (1461 John Ringling Parkway) emailed to say a young man entered their backyard at 1:40 this morning by land and went onto their boat and took two GPS units from the boat console valued at more than $14,000. They have the suspect on surveillance video.
Just another strong reminder to stay alert, always lock your doors and set your alarm if you have one...and be sure to report any suspicious persons or incidents immediately to Sarasota police.
