LSPOA board member Howard Rooks, who is also a member of the Rotary Club, has asked that we pass this information about a great weekend charity event along to our membership, so here goes:
"I'm asking for your support for the Sarasota Wild Life Art Festival which is being sponsored by my Rotary Club and which is taking place Saturday and Sunday, March 2-3, at the "Save Our Seabirds" facility in Ken Thompson Park on City Island.
Admission is only $5 and all proceeds will be shared by Save Our Sea Birds and the Rotary Club. There will be outstanding art available for purchase or viewing, and there will be a symposium with several nationally recognized speakers. It should be a lot of fun and all for a worthy cause.
