The solar Beach Gate (the one closest to the parking lot), will remain in the open position for the next week or so. That's because of a possible faulty memory chip in the gate's receiver. Lido Shores Clicker Man Larry Reinebach reports that a new receiver has been ordered and should be delivered by March 27th.
It will take a day or two to re-program, after which the gate will operate normally again. Our thanks to Larry for getting the gate repaired.
Also, a correction. In our Spring Potluck photos, John Currie was incorrectly identified. Our apologies to John.
