Oh my, was that fun! Actually getting out of the house on a Wednesday evening. Going to the beach was a plus. Conversing with other fun-seeking adults. And the biggest bonus? Enjoying a mini-concert at the Pavilion.

Thanks to new
LSPOA members Jan and Bill Farber (1339 Westway Drive), some 75 Lido Shorians were treated to a first ever Concert on the Beach, featuring a horn quartet from the
Sarasota Symphony. It was great to see so many enthusiastic neighbors, hearing the sound of popping corks, as well as the delicate sounds of musical instruments accompanied by waves lapping over the sand.

The musicians received a standing ovation... and there was already talk of making musical events part of our LSPOA Pavilion activities... perhaps on a quarterly basis. Hint, hint.
