Notice of the May 4, 2015 LSPOA Board Meeting
The next meeting of the LSPOA Board will take place on Monday, May 4th, at 5 PM at Anne Essner’s home (1301 Westway Drive). This is the last meeting of the season before the board goes on its annual summer hiatus. Monthly meetings will resume in September.
This meeting’s agenda includes a presentation by Peter van Roekens, Chairman of Save Our Siesta Sands 2 (http://www.soss2.com/), a not-for-profit organization dedicated to ensuring that proposed dredging of Big Pass (south of South Lido Beach) will not occur until more is known about the possible effects on the beaches of Siesta Key. For those who have been reading Diane Desenberg’s LSPOA website postings regarding observed erosion on our own North Lido Beach following the February/March 2015 dredging project, this is a meeting you won’t want to miss.
