Lido Shores Sunset Gatherings

Seven intrepid neighbors and guests gathered at the Beach Pavilion for an intimate LSPOA Sunset Gathering on Sunday, January 18^th. The group hypothesized that the small turnout was likely due to the Green Bay-Seattle football playoff game occurring at the same. Several of the attendees were Canadian, and weren’t as interested in the game outcome, including Karen Byles and first time attendees Henry and Cathy Rodrigues. Non-Canadians included LSPOA Social Chair and die-hard New England Patriot fan Carol Bowen, Wayne and Alice Freed, and former Lido Shorian Bridget Conklin.

Sunset Gatherings are the 1st and 3rd Sundays each month and neighbors gather about an hour before sunset. Bring your favorite appetizer to share and a cold libation or two, and celebrate our spectacular Lido sunsets.

The next Sunset Gathering will be on Sunday, February 1. Yes, the Superbowl is that day, but sunset is 6:11, so gathering time is about 5:10-5:15. You’ll definitely have time to get home before the 6:30 kickoff. See you then!
