When opening either beach access gate, please press the clicker button only once. If the gate does not start to open within five seconds, move closer to the gate — please
avoid hitting it — and press the clicker button once again. The gate repair company informs us that clicking multiple times can cause the equipment to go into shutdown mode — something that requires a service call and can create access problems. LSPOA members should also remember that the outer gate at Westway Drive opens automatically when a vehicle approaches from the beach direction.
