The City of Sarasota Utilities Department awarded a contract for the Sewer Force Main Replacement Project to Intercounty Engineering Inc. The Contractor will be directional drilling approximately 1400 lineal feet of 16” sanitary sewer force main on the south and 1400 feet of 18” water main on the north side of the Coon Key Bridge under Sarasota Bay from Coon Key to Bird Key.
Construction mobilization started Monday, May 14th. Throughout the duration of the project there will be equipment and crews on John Ringling Parkway along the construction route. Disruption to traffic and residents will be minimal.
