Editors Note: Last month we published a story, complete with graphic pictures, about one of those topics no one really wants to talk about, let along deal with. Lido Shorians who don't pick up after their dogs. It shows a careless lack of concern for our neighbors. So much for the scolding. Apparently, the plea fell on deaf ears.
From time to time, some of our members get really mad. And want to vent. And with good reason. This is one of those times. We couldn't have said it better — again. ~ BT
I know I had called you last week about people leaving dog droppings in my empty trash can. Just now, I went out to get my mail and bring my trash cans in. 2 dogs (not to be too descriptive, but I think the same one) left their droppings, not even next to the street but up on my lawn! You do not want to know the words that came out of my mouth as I stepped in one. It is very rude that anyone lets their dog do this.
We send out lots of emails to show pictures of parties even private ones etc. This is not a pleasant subject, but frankly, I would be very appreciative if you sent out a note specifically for this purpose! I love dogs having had to put mine down 6 weeks ago, but I am ready to put out the ugly no dog pooping signs and a camera!
Feel free to just forward this message. If it is an neighbor, I am disappointed and if it is a renter (most are gone by now), please inform the owners that their renters should be more respectful of other people's property! Whoever it is should be ashamed!
Thank you,
Christina Landry
Maybe LSPOA needs to hire a professional Pooper Scooper Service and PAY MONEY to have them clean up and pick up because a few neighborhood dog owners won't.
