Typically, Lido Shores hosts an Annual Meeting in January, typically at one of the area Yacht Clubs... and typically neighbors spend the evening rubbing elbows, catching up in person and meeting the new and returning LSPOA Board of Directors.
But we are not living in typical times. The Annual Meeting has been postponed until late March for now. So, instead, we'd like to introduce you to our three new and six-returning board members who'll be serving LSPOA in 2021.
Board members are elected for 2-year terms, and meet once a month, primarily in season.
LSPOA OFFICERS
Dennis Bischoff - President
I was born in Middleton, WI. After graduating with a degree in Business from the University of Wisconsin, eventually becoming VP of Sales for Anderson Bakeries. I lived in Philadelphia and was married to Mary Lee in 1987. Sarasota was love at first sight when we visited friends in 1998. When our friends were building a house at 1345 Westway, we bought the house across the street at 1348 Westway.
After starting my own company with my son in law we were able to spend more time here. We always liked modern homes and the neighborhood of Lido Shores, so in 2017 we leveled our house and built a new one. Now I am active everyday but instead of commuting to Lancaster, PA for work, I play golf, tennis and have a passion for pickle ball. My LSPOA presidency has been the highlight of 2020.
