| Kent & Jean Williams are moving from Lido Shores after 10-years |
Time marches on. It seems like only yesterday Kent and Jean Williams moved to Lido Shores and set up residence at 1461 John Ringling Pkwy. Actually, it was a decade ago.
After meticulously remodeling... replacing the roof and upgrading all of the windows over the years... they did what many of us do when our house is finally in absolutely perfect shape. They decided to move. The Williams' closed on their house last week... and are moving to Lakewood Ranch to be a bit closer to their family.
Both Kent and Jean were quietly active behind the scenes supporting LSPOA events, Kent setting up and tearing down after potlucks... and Jean working the sign in desk at Annual Meetings. Kent was also known to spend hours pulling weeds and keeping the Pavilion beach area in shape.

Kent was formerly in commercial construction.... and, no surprise, is a skilled handyman. He's already hard at work remodeling their new home. He also helped me construct a hot and cold water outdoor shower a few years back at our old house on John Ringling Pkwy.
I'm going to miss seeing them head out to breakfast each morning. If you need to find a good place... they've dined at them all. And Kent and Jean still can be seen from time to time around the hood. They're helping out Canadien neighbors Karen and John Byles by supervising construction of their new home at 1156 Center Place. The Byles are still quarantined in Canada due to Covid 19.
