| Marion "Chicky" Drost |
Drost's obituary is below, along with a condolence note from friend Christina Landry.
I am so sad to hear of Chicky's passing. She was a good friend for 20 years and neighbor. We attended so many cultural events in Sarasota together. I often called her our Meg Ryan lookalike. Chicky had the most beautiful smile and infectious laugh. She loved to entertain. I attended many Academy Award and Super Bowl parties at her home. And of course, her annual corn beef party; she had the corn beef flown in from Cleveland along with Draeger's hot fudge sauce! My daughter and I visited Chicky in Cleveland many years ago. She took us to The Music Hall of Fame.
I am so sorry for the loss of Chicky to her family. I will always have wonderful memories of our dear friend and miss you so much!
Christina Landry
