Spring Potluck a Great Success

Guests enjoying a wonderful evening on Bob & Sue Lifeso's deck facing Pansy Bayou
Spring Potluck Enjoyed by 80 Members and Guests

Bob and Sue Lifeso’s exquisite home provided the perfect backdrop for LSPOA’s spring potluck Sunday, March 19. A festive crowd of 80 members and guests mingled on the deck overlooking Pansy Bayou, catching up with old friends and welcoming new members to our community.

President Bob Lifeso welcomed everyone and tested his wedding rehersal joke on the crowd to great applause and laughter, before introducing incoming social chair, Peggy Shannon, to the group. Peggy honored Kathryn Edstrom and Carol Bowen for their years of tireless efforts and great dedication to LSPOA with surprise gifts of travel cups filled with gift certificates to Shore and Surf Shack, respectively.

New this year, the board provided entrees for the gathering. Perry’s BBQ treated the crowd to a delicious selection of salmon, roast chicken, veggie shish kabobs, beef brisket, mac & cheese, and cornbread. Members contributed a wide selection of appetizers, tasty side dishes, and salads. The kitchen overflowed with desserts of all kinds.

Thank you to Bob and Sue Lifeso for opening their home and their hearts to all of us. An incredible wave of gratitude goes out to so many people who generously shared their time to help decorate, purchase supplies, taste test food, and set up, tear down, and clean up the event. We are blessed by your willingness to serve. Your efforts made the night an incredible success.

Please join us for the Fall Potluck Dinner on Sunday, October 22 at Lynn and Rand Carvel’s stunning home. It’s sure to be amazing.
