The Board of the LSPOA would like to thank Carol Bowen for all her hard work over the past year to make this past Sunday's (March 20) Pot Luck such a memorable affair. We had 75 members and guests in attendance and as always the food was superb, a testament to the number of wonderful chefs here in Lido Shores. This year the weather gods did cooperate and combined with animated and interesting members and guests made for a wonderful evening.
Thanks to Fred and Judy Fiala for the wine selection, excellent as always. The proof being that we nearly ran out before most of the guests left. The sign of a good party.
A very special thanks to Bob and Anne Essner, our lovely and as always gracious hosts The Umbrella House has been beautifully and very tastefully redone by the Essners’, a wonderful addition to the architecture and beauty of our community. They have been wonderful and gracious neighbors and friends and always ready to assist with our neighborhood functions.
Thanks to all the volunteers who set up, cleaned up and took down. These events could not take place without the combined talents of all our friends and neighbors.
The next social event will be Hot Dogs on the Beach on Sunday July 3. Our former hot dog vendor retired and we are looking for a replacement. If anyone has a hot dog vendor they know, a rather unusual request, but if any of our members do know of a hot dog vendor or food truck specializing in American type fare, whatever that might be, please contact Carol Bowen at bowenmktg@Comcast .net. It being the Fourth of July, we are looking specifically for American fare.
