Get Well Soon wishes go out to Ken McMillen. Ken is home recuperating from neck surgery last Wednesday, May 4. Ken's partner, Dr. Ron Stanish, reports the four-hour surgery at Sarasota Memorial, on cervical discs C3-7, was successful with no complications.
Ken has severe degenerative disc disease in his neck, aggravated by a car accident several years ago. Ron tells us that Ken's pain finally got so severe he opted for surgery. Ken will be sporting a neck brace for the next six to eight weeks.
Ken is a member of the LSPOA board and serves as Chair of the Landscaping Committee that oversees beach area maintenance.
